Local meat from independent butchers carries more trust that the supermarkets. It confirms what I have thought about meat from local sources and retailers. The independents were rated at 92% trustworthy for the meat they sold. Supermarkets came out at 69%. I think this is a clear indication that going to local retailers for our food has a benefit over the bigger supermarkets. Price is one factor but knowing what and where your meat comes from and the butcher can also advise customers on how to prepare and cook the meat.
